 TALK ABOUT AN INTERESTING NEIGHBOUR

Who this person is

Since How long you know him -How often you see him

Why you like this person

Well, neighbours play an integral role in our lives as they are even closer than our friends and relatives Although, I have a strong bonding with people who live in my neighbourhood. Yet, I like Simran the most who lives next door to me Actually, he is not only my neighbour but classmate also. For this reason, we spend ample time with each other and have a very good understanding with each other. Our routine starts with a morning walk at 6'0 clock, when we go for a brisk walk, in the colony park During this walk, we enjoy gossiping and often we talk about class tests or study matters. In the classroom, we share the same bench and everyone knows that we are best friends. The best thing is that he is really good at the subjects, which are find difficult, especially, Mathematics. So, he helps me in improving/ polishing my mathematics skills. In return, I help him in playing Badminton, because, I am a good player of this game. So, in the evening, we go  to the nearby playground, where we play this game for an hour every day. He has all the qualities of a good neighbour like trustworthiness, helpfulness and honesty We often visit each other's home to play computer games as well as to complete assignments or prepare for exams Our parents are

also very happy about our friendship. Although, we have different plans related to studies after college, yet we would remain best friends and neighbours in future.

Q1 Why people these days do not spend much time with their neighbours?

Ans1. To my mind, the prime reason behind is the hectic schedule because of which people do not get enough time to spend with their neighbours. But, the obsession of technology is equally responsible because people remain glued to their electronic gadgets rather than enjoying the company of their neighbours

02 Who keeps stronger bonding with neighbours, rural or urbans?

Ans? In my perception, rural people definitely have stronger bonding as they have more free time and live in same house for ages and develop strong relationship with people who live next door, whereas, urban dwellers remain over occupied and could not develop relationships with neighbours who generally move on temporary basis.

Q3. What can be done to improve bonding among theNeighbour?

Ans3 As far as, I can understand the best way to bring neighbours closer is to organise some special events or celebrate Festivals as a community This way, they would get a chance to Interact and mingle with each other.Q4 How neighbours can help each other? Ans4 Needless to say, neighbours come handy in all different situations, no matter, in case of emergency or small matters. In my country, we often seen neighbours helping each other by lending money, vehicle, taking care of pets or children. In fact. neighbours don't hesitate to borrow things from each other such as bowl of sugar.

Q5 Do you think in future people would be closer to their neighbours?

Ans5. Unfortunately, the way people are getting disconnected with their neighbours. It is apparent that in future the situation will not improve, which means there would not be good communication or bonding among the community members
