DESCRIBE A STORY SOMEONE TOLD YOU AND YOU REMEMBER // TALK ABOUT A STORY YOU HEARD IN CHILDHOOD,
What the story was about
Who told you this story
Why you remember it How you feel about it
Well, I have read and heard many stories in childhood and I especially enjoyed listening to stories from my grandmother and here I would like narrate my favourite childhood story of a farmer who taught his sons the lesson unity One days I was having a fierce fight with my brother and at that time our grandmother told us this story of a farmer. There was a farmer having four sons who always used to quarrel with each other and the farmer was really worried about them. To, teach them the importance of unity he brought few sticks and asked them to break them into two All sons immediately snapped the stick taking no time Later the father handed over a bunch of sticks to each of his to break and no one could break this time. Then the farmer said dear sons if you will remain together no one can harm you else you will be like those broken sticks Listening to the stories, we realised our mustake as the sons of the farmer and felt sorry to our grandmother and promised we will never fight again I must say listening to this story brought a huge change in our behaviour and developed our relationship. In fact, I have told this story later to my nephew and niece too. Overall, it is a story which is my favourite that I heard in childhood

Q1 Has storytelling changed over a period of time? Ans! Yes, certainly there is a big change as in past children used to live with their grandparents and it was very common tradition in my country that grandmother used to tell stories to their grandchildren but today most children listen stories with the help of technology.
2. Which way is better, traditional storytelling or the use of technology in storytelling"
Ans2 I think traditional was better one because it helped children to develop Intimacy with grandparents but if we talk about interactive way of story-telling it is definitely, technology where children can watch YouTube videos and improve their imagination
Q3 Do you think that generally most of the people are good at storytelling? Ans3. No, I really don't think so because one has to have the
skill of articulations and for that reason very few people are good story teller just like very few people are good joke tellers
04 What makes storytelling effective? Ans4. I think there are several ingredients that make storytelling
effective and first and foremost is the ability to articulate and
pitch the story in a very interactive manner that develops the interest of the listeners and helps to imagine. Moreover, humour also makes storytelling very effective
05. Is it important to tell stories? An5 Of course, think it is very good at very age especially for young children who are very in their primitive age and they want to have learning experience of life and few stories of moral values and history culture and religions we can really help to improve their knowledge
Q6Is reading books beneficial or watching documentaries
better?
An 6 I must say reading books is better because through reading we can acquire in depth knowledge that we may not from 30 minutes of documentary In addition it also helps to develop reading skills and at the same time, reading has lasting impression on our memory as compared to watching a documentary.
Q7. Do young children like the same Stories as older children?
*. I can say that still old stories are very popular for example, when I was child I loved the stories of Akbar and Birbal and even today Akbar and Birbal is favourite among young children so I can say that still old stories are popular.
