I have received lots of gifts in my life, however today I would like to talk about a time when got money as a gift. I remember, it was my 18th birthday which I celebrated. I Invited all my friends and relatives. Moving further, all guests gave me beautiful gift items, however my aunt gave me cash instead of actual gift item. In actual, my aunt didn't know about my likes or dislikes. That's why she gave me 1000 Rs. Initially, I denied to take monetary present, but she forced me too much. I thanked her for giving huge amount of money. Moreover, she told me that I can purchase whatever I need with this money. On the very next day, I went to Godrej store to buy study lamp. Actually I wanted to purchase for a long time. I saw various lamp models, some of the models were far expensive. Finally, bought LX model which was also in my budget. I paid 1000 Rupees for that. I felt over the moon after buying the product which was required for my study purpose. In addition, it all just happened because I got monetary gift on my birthday. All in all, am really thankful to my aunt who helped me to fulfill my need. Whenever I use my study lamp to read, I always remember her. So, that was a time when I received money as a gift.
