Well, people do different activities to stay fit and healthy but 1 find morning walk, the best activity to do. I am in habit of going for a morning walk for almost two years now and I started this activity on the recommendation of my father The fact is that because of the sedentary routine and being over-occupied with studies. I was feeling kind of lethargic and not involved in any kind of physical activity but on my father's recommendation who always go for a walk at 6 in the morning, I decided to join him. I do this activity on regular basis now and it benefits me a lot. We go for a walk in the colony park and there is also a jogging track So, I jog there for almost 30 minutes. This activity is more like a panacea I must say that prior to joining this activity I was really lethargic but now I feel quite active and rejuvenated. The morning fresh air really refreshes me and makes me feel physically and mentally fit but there are more benefits. Apart from this, the main thing is that I do not have to pay anything for this activity because I know my friends who have joined sports centres, swimming centres, gymnasiums and others. They pay heavily to avail these facilities but I don't have to pay even a single penny In addition, the free yoga classes provided at the colony park are extremely helpful to me because by doing yoga for 10-15 mins in the morning helps to improve my concentration. At the same time, it gives me healthy time to spend with my father and during this time. I often discuss my personal problems which helps to strengthen my bonding with him. Overall, it is a wonderful activity and I recommend to all age groups. At the same time, people who are over or underweight to get into the habit of morning walk as it is going to bring a huge change in their physical and mental fitness

  • Needless to say, in old age, people are not physically and mentally fit For that reason, they have to do some kind of activity to remain active and old people in my country generally love to spend their free time in the parks where they have some walk or yoga with their friends and this way they also get some time to gossips with their agemates and spend their time


Q2 What kind of sports are popular in India? 

  • Well, India is a sport's loving nation and we follow all different sports but the most lovable sport is cricket. At the same time people, these days also follow international sports like baseball, rugby, football and others.


03 Do you think young people should play dangerous sports?

  • To be very honest, I am not in favour because there is always a high risk of death but still, teenagers are highly inclined towards such sports because they can make big money in extreme sports like wrestling, car racing and others.

Q4 What can parents do to make their children like sports? 

  • I think it is a very important question because today's children's interest in sports is declining for that reason they should make them join some kind of sports academy or they can take them to the nearest playground on regular basis to develop their interest


05 What else people can do to keep fit besides sports? 

  • Well, today there are numerous options for people to remain fit and active other than sports. For example, they can join a gymnasium, they can join a swimming class which is also a wonderful exercise Yoga is yet another activity that helps people to stay fit and healthy.
