I have been always excellent in artistic skills including painting and drawings since my school days, but I never tried it professionally. As my best friend's birthday was very near and I was planning to give him a special gift while drawing a picture of my farther. I was discussing this matter with my mother who was sitting near me. After looking at my drawing, my mother gave idea that Instead of giving a shop bought gift, I must draw a hand made picture of my friend, and gift him. Although it was an interesting idea as this hand made gift could be a unique gift for him. However, I was not confident enough that my painting would impress my friend.
My mother supported me and praised my artistic skills as she knew I was excellent in drawing at school. After gaining some confidence, I decided to go for it. It took me around 2 hours to complete this task. I used a combination of different sketches and colours to increase the beauty of the painting. Finally, I gifted this masterpiece to my friend on his birthday, and I was amazed to listen my praise very next on the phone call. He was extremely impressed with the painting that I gifted, and thanked me form the bottom of his heart. I thank god for gifting me with such a caring, supporting and lovely mother.
