TALK ABOUT A MEETING IN WHICH YOU WERE A SPEAKER
When it was?
Where it was?
Why you were the speaker?
How was your overall experience?
Well, I have attended many meetings and in quite a few I had the opportunity to present my views as speaker Here I am going to share one such experience when I was invited at the school's annual meeting. Actually, my school used to organize a meeting every year in which students could share their feedback with the management. I vividly remember, at that time I was in grade 6" I had profound interest in sports but my school used to focus only on the academic. So, I decided to raise the voice of students during this meeting. There were around fifty members including the school staff and students who were heads of different classrooms. And everyone was listening to others' views patiently. Finally, it was my turn and honestly speaking I was little nervous to face the management, especially the principal but with confidence I presented my views that how important it is for school to organize the sports. Sports not only keep children physically but mentally fit also. Children remain active and energetic when they play games. I also mentioned that it is the best way to teach children the value of hard work, discipline, co-operation, teamwork and others. Finally, I gave examples of few schools known for giving some of the national players, who are shining the names of those schools. When I finished my speech, everyone honored me with a round of applause and the administration promised the students to introduce sports facility. I must say this experience boosted my confidence to share my views publicly.
